Dairy intake and acne development: A meta-analysis of observational studies

Aghasi M, et al. - Using meta-analysis and dose-response analysis, the researchers intended to assess the association between milk and dairy products and acne development. They searched data and collected from Pubmed/Medline, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase databases. The results of this meta-analysis suggested a positive relationship between dairy, total milk, whole milk, low-fat and skim milk consumption and acne occurrence. No significant association was found between yogurt/cheese and acne development.
