Comparison of the rotational stability of two toric intraocular lenses in 1,273 consecutive eyes
Ophthalmology Mar 18, 2018
Lee BS, et al. - This retrospective cohort study was conducted in order to compare the rotational stability of the 2 most commonly used toric intraocular lenses (TIOLs) (Acrysof or Tecnis TIOLs) in the cataract surgery. Compared to Tecnis TIOL, significantly greater rotational stability was demonstrated by the Acrysof. A strong predisposition to rotate counterclockwise was displayed by the Tecnis TIOL, unlike the Acrysof. Results suggested similar refractive outcomes between the 2 groups.
