Alqahtani F, et al. - This study compared utilization rates and in-hospital outcomes of transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in Caucasians and African American (AA) patients, utilizing the nationwide inpatient sample (NIS). In contemporary US practice, utilization rates, in-hospital outcomes, and cost of TAVR did not significantly differ between Caucasians and AA patients.
