Ringrose JS, et al. - This study entailed an evaluation of the comparability of mean automated office blood pressure (BP) to daytime ambulatory blood pressure in clinical practice. In addition to observed high variability between the two methods, findings also highlighted that mean automated office blood pressure underestimated daytime ambulatory blood pressure. This study did not lend support to the premise that automated office BP closely approximates daytime ambulatory BP.
