The Knee Mar 22, 2019
Gill JR, et al. - From 2005 to 2017, 466 Physica ZUK prostheses implanted in 398 subjects were estimated to examine the mid-term clinical consequences and survivorship of the Physica ZUK as well. Using the Knee Society Knee Score (KS-KS) and Function Score (KS-FS) at latest follow-up, 367 medial unicompartmental knee arthroplasties (UKAs) with a minimum follow-up of 2 years and 14 lateral UKAs with a minimum follow-up of 18 months were assessed. They found improvement in KS-KS and KS-FS for medial UKAs as compared to the pre-operative values from 53.6 and 54.0 to 93.4 and 91.0 respectively. And, for lateral UKAs, they found significant improvement in KS-KS and KS-FS from 46.4 and 48.7 to 91.3 and 93.1 respectively. No revision of implants was noticed.
