Joo HJ, et al. - Following drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation, the long-term clinical outcomes were compared between patients with vs without coronary artery aneurysm (CAA). A higher incidence of major adverse cardiac events (MACE) was reported in those with vs without CAA after DES implantation. Drivers of this difference included target lesion revascularization (TLR) and nonfatal myocardial infarction (MI) and this difference widened over time.
