Choroidal thickness in birdshot retinochoroiditis over a 2-year period
Ophthalmologica Jun 22, 2018
Forte R, et al. - Experts assessed the 2-year choroidal changes in eyes with birdshot retinochoroiditis (BRC). Even in the absence of visual loss, at 2-year follow-up, foveal choroidal thinning and increase of SCF could be observed in patients with BRC. A significant reduction of choroidal thickness at the 2-year visit was present only at the fovea. Authors noted 1.8 ± 1.6 µm per month to be the rate of foveal choroidal thinning. A greater frequency of suprachoroidal fluid (SCF) was seen when compared to baseline.
