Change in circulating microRNA profile of obese children indicates future risk of adult diabetes

Cui X, et al. - By using circulating miRNAs, the possibility of predicting the future risk of adult type 2 diabetes (T2D) in obese children was determined. The role of circulating miRNAs in predicting the future risk of T2D in obese children, especially miR-486, miR-146b, and miR-15b, was shown.
