Cesarean delivery in the United States 2005 – 2014: A population-based analysis using the Robson Ten Group Classification System
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology Apr 18, 2018
Hehir MP, et al. - Researchers aimed to apply the Robson Ten Group Classification System (TGCS) to a nationwide cohort in the United States over a 10-year period. As per observations, women with a previous cesarean delivery represented an increasing proportion of cesarean deliveries. They noted that using Robson criteria allows standardized comparisons of data and helps in identifying clinical scenarios driving changes in cesarean rates. TGCS could be used by hospitals and health organizations in evaluating quality and processes associated with cesarean delivery.
