Yasa E, et al. – This study was designed to explore the association of hospitalizations attributed to unexplained syncope and orthostatic hypotension (OH) with subsequent cardiovascular events and mortality. Findings demonstrated higher incidence of cardiovascular disease and mortality, with only partial overlap between these two conditions, in patients discharged with the diagnosis of unexplained syncope or OH.
