Pokharel Y, et al. - This study assessed the link between low-density lipoprotein (LDL) pattern post-myocardial infarction (MI) and mortality. Researchers observed that LDL pattern B vs. pattern A displayed a significant link with reduced all-cause and non-cardiovascular (CV) mortalities, with a trend for lower CV mortality following MI, independent of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides.
