Smith MH, et al. - Authors characterized the musculoskeletal manifestations of immune-related adverse events (irAEs) following the checkpoint inhibitor immunotherapy for cancer. Findings suggested a probable manifestation of the musculoskeletal irAEs as a rheumatoid arthritis-like polyarthritis, oligoarthritis, tenosynovitis, or polymyalgia rheumatica. There was a probability of the musculoskeletal symptoms to last more than an year, but with the help of low to moderate doses of corticosteroids they can generally be managed.
