Hashimoto T, et al. - This study was performed to investigate whether higher serum eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)/arachidonic acid (AA) ratio fares better clinical outcomes in the early phase of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Findings demonstrated an association of lower serum EPA/AA ratio with a higher frequency of fatal arrhythmic events in the early phase of AMI.
