International Journal of Epidemiology Evidence based | Sep 29, 2017

Moon KA, et al. - Authors sought to perform a systematic review of general population epidemiological studies of arsenic and incident clinical cardiovascular disease (CVD)(all CVD, coronary heart disease (CHD) and stroke) with three or more exposure categories. Although limited by the small number of studies, findings strengthen quantitatively including CVD in inorganic arsenic risk assessment and support the evidence for an association between arsenic and CVD across low-moderate to high levels.
